The next Northwest MS Writers Guild meeting will be Saturday, April 1, from 1-3 p.m. at the Olive Branch Library.

Gov. Tate Reeves Monday, March 27 provided a more extensive update on the state’s response after the tornadoes went through the state of Friday, March 24.

January was a difficult month for drug overdoses in 10 Mississippi counties, including DeSoto County, according to the Mississippi Opioid and Heroin Data Collaborative.
